Pregnancy Care: Let’s Get Ready
Preparing for birth is about more than just checking items off a nursery list. It’s about tending to the temple that is your body. By weaving together the structural support of Bodywork, the rhythmic strength of Prenatal Yoga, and the elemental wisdom of an Ayurveda, you create a foundation for motherhood. This holistic "trinity" ensures your pelvis is balanced and spacious for your little one, your nervous system is anchored in calm, and your energy is fueled by nutrition specifically tailored to your unique soul. Instead of simply approaching labor as an event to "get through," this comprehensive preparation invites you to step into your power—ensuring you arrive at your birth feeling physically supple, emotionally steady, and vibrantly nourished.
Comprehensive Childbirth Education
$150 / series
Preparing to welcome a new little soul brings a whirlwind of change to your body, heart, and mind. Cookies, Chai & Childbirth goes far beyond the standard, clinical hospital class to offer a truly holistic and soulful preparation for parenthood.
This beautiful series is broken down into three digestible, 90-minute sessions that are as easy to understand as they are informative:
Ayurveda Doula Pregnancy Care Offerings
Personal Ayurvedic Session
$75 / hour
The Discovery: We’ll walk through a series of gentle questions to reveal your dominant Dosha (your "Inner Weather").
The Unpacking: We’ll talk through any "sticky" spots—physically or emotionally—that have been weighing on you.
The Roadmap: You’ll walk away with a clear understanding of why you feel the way you do and a few simple, joyful shifts to start feeling balanced immediately.
“Finding Space” Bodywork Series
$175 / three in home sessions
Before the big day arrives, we want to make sure your baby has a spacious, balanced, and cozy environment to navigate. By creating physical space in the pelvis and softening the surrounding tissues, we’re setting the stage for a smoother, more rhythmic labor.
What’s included in my three sessions:
Fascia Release: A gentle, melting touch to unwind the "living web" of connective tissue that can get tight as your body expands.
Uterine Ligament Balancing: We’ll focus on the "supporting cast"—the ligaments that hold your womb—to ensure everything is symmetrical and tension-free.
Belly Mapping®: Based on Gail Tully’s Spinning Babies ™ approach, this is a playful and educational way to figure out exactly how your little one is snuggled inside. We’ll identify those kicks and nudges to help you "see" your baby’s position!
Why Three Sessions?
Your body is a dynamic, changing landscape. A series of three visits allows us to build on our progress, layering in more space and comfort as you get closer to meeting your newest family member. Best of all? I come to you. No traffic, no stress—just healing in the comfort of your own sanctuary.
Prenatal Yoga Classes
$20 / hour
Beyond the blissful stretch, prenatal yoga offers real, science-backed benefits for your mind and body:
We focus on the specific muscles you’ll use during labor—strengthening your core and legs while keeping your hips supple and ready.
You’ll learn "pranayama" (breathwork) techniques that act as a natural anchor, helping you stay calm and focused during the intensity of contractions.
Targeted movements help alleviate the classic pregnancy "stiff spots," like lower back ache, tight shoulders, and those restless legs.
Perhaps the greatest gift of all is the community. There is something incredibly healing about being in a room full of women who "get it." It’s a space to share stories, swap tips, and realize you aren’t walking this path alone. You’ll find friends who will be right there with you as you transition into the "new mom" world together.
I would love to hold space for you and your growing bump! Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or have never touched a mat, these sessions are designed to meet you exactly where you are.

Two Hearts, One Woman
According to ancient Ayurvedic wisdom, a sacred bridge forms between the mother’s and baby’s hearts around the 20th week of pregnancy. This isn't just poetic—it’s functional! This connection allows your baby to "whisper" their needs to you through cravings. That sudden urge for spinach or a bowl of ice cream? That’s often your baby requesting specific nutrients, like calcium, to build their tiny bones and bright eyes.
Because this bond is a two-way street, your baby also "tastes" your emotions and experiences. This is why Ayurveda lovingly encourages mamas to prioritize peaceful environments and joyful moments, protecting that shared emotional space during this sensitive time.
Modern science has caught up to this ancient truth through a phenomenon called Fetal Cell Microchimerism. Studies show that fetal cells actually migrate into the mother’s body, staying with her long after birth. It’s the scientific proof of what we’ve always felt: a mother and child are forever woven together, heart and soul.
