The Sacred Window refers to the first six weeks following birth—a time when a mother’s body is most receptive to deep healing. In Ayurveda, it is believed that how you are nourished during these 42 days influences your health for the next 42 years, making it the most critical time for rest and rejuvenation.

Unlike standard care which often focuses primarily on the baby, Ayurvedic support centers on BOTH mother and baby. .We focus on balancing "Vata" (air and space energy) through warming foods, herbal oils and medicated ghee and salves to ensure the mother feels grounded and physically "put back together."

While every lasagna is delivered with love, a new mother’s "digestive fire" (Agni) is delicate after birth. Heavy, complex foods drain energy away from vital tissue healing and can even lead to a gassy, unsettled baby through your breastmilk.
My organic, Ayurvedically inspired meals are crafted to be light, warming, and easy to absorb. By prioritizing gentle nourishment, you ensure your energy stays focused on recovery and bonding—rather than just digesting dinner.

Spinning Babies® is a physiological approach to birth that prioritizes "Balance before Force." Through specific daily activities and bodywork, we help balance the muscles and ligaments supporting the uterus, giving your baby the optimal space to rotate and descend into the pelvis for a smoother, more rhythmic birth.

Yes! Hospital classes often focus on medical procedures and "what will be done to you." My Cookies, Chai & Childbirth workshop focuses on your body's intelligence, helping you to understand the body’s “whispers,” rhythmic breathwork techniques, mindful meditations, and physical comfort measures that can be utilized no matter where or how you decide to labor.

Ideally, you should secure your support during your second or early third trimester. This allows us to map out your birth plan and / or personalized nutrition and recovery plan well before your baby arrives. Let’s ensure your "village" is ready the moment you need them.

While my past clients have shared beautiful stories of our time together (which you can explore at the bottom of my home page), every birth is a unique landscape. To truly understand the rhythm of how we might work together, I invite you to a complimentary consultation. Let’s sit down, share a cup of tea, and discuss your specific goals and expectations. No question is too small—I am an open book.
